Another Hiccup -- Sharks 1 - 3 Adur 2

After spending four hours officiating for other teams the Sharks took to the court at less than full energy and the first set showed this, with Adur going into a 11-4 lead, Mel then served five points to bring the score to 11-9. Both sides traded points and the scores were at 18-17 to Adur then it all went wrong with Adur winning 25-17.

The second set saw Sharks coming out with the grit and determination they have shown in previous matches this season with Paul getting four points off his first serve with some excellent hitting from Mickey. Both teams then traded points until the scores were 11-7 then Paul served five points with good pick ups and blocking from every member of the team. From then on Sharks never looked back with some good hitting from Richard and some nice dumps from Bas. The serving in this set was 100%.

The third set saw both teams trading points and at 18-18 Adur starting moving ahead with some strong hitting, which Sharks couldn't block or defend and the set was won by Adur 25-19.

By the fourth set Sharks were looking tired but they traded punches with Adur, but were always behind by two points even with some good hitting from Mickey and Richard. The team never let go but ended up losing the set 25-20.

Oh no not again Mickey was Player of the match. Well done mate.
